A Problem of Being Underweight

Being underweight is having the weight less than the desired or the normal weight of a person. If one is underweight, it does not mean that he or she is sick. It is because of some different circumstances or just simply by their choice.
 Because of this, underweight people are more prone to fatigue, and can easily get tired of doing something because of the low body weight. There are a lot of situations and circumstances that results to a person being underweight.
 Situations than should have been prevented but some people chose not to. Some circumstances also are natural and we cannot do something about it because it is there already.
We are talking of situations like poverty. We cannot prevent this because it is already there. If you live in a country which is very poor, poverty is being experienced there.
This is not the fault of those young kids to experience this; we may somehow blame the government for not doing anything to solve this crisis. Some are just simply underweight but a lot of them are really malnourish. It is lower from the level of just being underweight. Another situation is the lack of production of food due to famine. Like in most countries in Asia, they are more likely to experience "El NiƱo" or just simply drought.
This is because of the water shortage due to extreme heat that causes the plants to die especially the rice fields. I know a little about this because I live in one of those countries. The third factor that cannot be prevented is the hereditary influence. If most members of the family are underweight, then you have also a great chance to become one of them.
 There are also situation that people know how to prevent but they chose not to do anything about it. Situations like the use of stimulant drugs. Another one is the exercise which is beyond our needed exercise per day. Even excessive engagement in sports like running is not healthy anymore. These are just some of the causes why a person becomes underweight. Being underweight is not a disease. So we will not look for a treatment or cure.


We will just study some of the ways how to gain weight to from the level of being underweight. Eating food which is high in sugar content is helpful but do not abuse it. It is sometimes become unhealthy if the use of sugar is abused. Foods with proteins are also highly recommended. An underweight person must also raise the ingestion of some fatty foods like rice and butter. These suggested steps are not hard to follow if one is just determined to do it.


We must also remember that we must also give value to our health than to our ambitions in life. Ambitions, which we say unhealthy, and destructive. I always write this statement to most of my articles. We must always bear in mind that "health is wealth".
